Last Worship, Concert, :(

So today is the beginning of the last week here in Italy and it's sad. It's exciting and sad too. This morning was worship here at the villa and it was wonderful. We talked about seeing beauty in God's creation, especially His masterpieces - us. Then we had a lot of awesome songs - good ones but old ones. Then we had some time then lunch :) Then I napped bc I don't know if I'm just run down or what, but I'm tired all the time and I feel blah, so I napped. Then we got ready and ate dinner at Movida and then went to our last concert and it was a trio of Harding profs including Chuck Hicks who leads singing at Dtown church out at school. It was sooooo good. They played all kinds of music and they had a trumpet player, a guitarist, a piano player and sometimes Chuck sang. It was really fun! Then we went up to Piazzale Michelangelo and had gelato and grooved to some Michael Jackson music that somebody's car was playing way too loud lol! Then we came back to the villa - we just got back. I'm trying to get people on skype but they must be busy :( I guess I'll just get to talk to them tomorrow bc I'm pretty sure the internet's actually going to cut off tonight.

Also I met and talked a lot with Sara, a new neighbor near the villa. She's 17 and chilling with us a lot. She's coming tomorrow to help out with our field day with the kids' camp. I'm helping face paint and I tried to talk Sara into interpreting what the kids want at the face painting station :).

Love you everyone...ps - 5 months from today = my wedding!!! :D

  1. Your reference to the new neighbor, 17 year old, Sara, reminds me- I hope that you will share some more of your thoughts and impressions of some of the people from Italy that you've met.
