Vatican!

So this was Saturday July 9th. We went on a self guided-ish tour through the Vatican museum and listened to lots of info about certain pieces (that Robbie said were the best). We had to write about at least 10 of them - I chose some of his pieces and some of the others because I liked them better, who would've thought? Then we had to turn in our tour listening devices and then I bought a cross necklace (I personally think it was blessed by the Pope) lol. Then we had to zigzag back through the museum again to get back to the Sistine chapel to sneak into the group line to take the short cut over to St. Peter's. But eventually we all got through and it was awesome! I got to go into the Sacristy and see lots of stuff that I don't know what it is oops. Then we all met up and it was about 3 so we needed food! And a couple of us hadn't gone to the Colloseum (slackers) so they went back there and we got some food and just scarfed it and immediately regretted having eaten so fast, but oh well. Then we went back to the hotel to clean up and nap until dinner. I went to the French nun dinner where they sing and dance. It was really cool. They sang Ave Maria and asked us to join in with them and then the dance was a "traditional dance" where she was basically on point (ballet style) the whole time...it was so beautiful. You could tell she really loved what she was doing bc she had a smile on her face and was looking up the whole time.
