So the concert last night was actually really really interesting and they were obviously very talented artists. I was surprised because I'm not used to seeing the orchestra - usually I'm at the Nutcracker Ballet and they're hidden in the pit. It was really fun to see them and the emotion with which they play and how the conductor got after it and then would calm everyone down and then bring it back again. The place was packed too - Italian culture really is different in that they honestly just appreciate the arts more than we do overall back home.
Today I had Bible class at 8 - we turned in the last chapter's homework, went over our tests (I got a 41/40 - I missed one question, but got the bonus point and then since he didn't get them graded when he said he curved it up 1 point :D). Then we went over chapter 9 on the wedding planning. Once again, I'm very blessed to have the family I have and to be marrying the wonderful man I am and to be gaining awesome in-laws. God really loves me.
Then at 9 I had a final in IES and that went very well :) I still have a couple things left to do for that class, but it's all good...nothing too hard. Then we had Italian and we learned Mona's favorite song which was "caminando" or something like that. It's about walking, but it's also a love song lol. Then we had split chapel and sent the Burks off and had spaghetti for lunch! After that we started packing and then went and bought snacks at the COOP and then Paige and I had to go to the Superal in Scandicci for some other stuff and ended up taking a scenic detour getting back, but we got back and saw some pretty stuff. Also Bus 27 was working today lol...slackers.
So we got what we needed and came back and finished packing. Then I'm trying to see if anyone's up so I can talk to them before getting on a train, but who knows? Our train leaves at 6:30 and we switch to another train around 9 tonight and then get to Salzburg at 4 am tomorrow morning :) joy. We'll chill for a while in the train station there and then go over to our Sound of Music bike tour around 8/9 ish then we'll check into our hostel there and depending on how much sleep we get and the weather, we may go check some stuff out in town.
Then the next day our train for Prague leaves around 6 am, so we'll head on to the next stop :D! I'm so excited!!!
Love you everyone!
