Praha - 1st full day

So yesterday was fun, but I'm ready to see some of the sights and explore some more. This morning we're going on a walking tour because the rain has cleared up some. Our hostel takes us for free and we get to get our barings on where all the cool stuff is and the castle, museums, Jewish Quarter, Charles Bridge, Lennon wall - yep I'm doing it :). We're about to leave for that tour so I'll let you know how it goes later...

Ok so this was started yesterday and then my computer has become the communal computer lol. So yesterday morning we went on the walking tour. It's been a little rainy the past couple days, but nothing compared to what we've experienced before. So we met up with Simon, this British guy who was picking people up from hostels and hotels for the tour. Then we all joined the English group that met up in the Old Town Square. I expected the tour to be like ok - this is what street this is on, you should go here, it's this much to get in, then go visit this awesome sight...not how it was at all. The guide took us all around the Old Town, New Town, and Jewish Quarter! He told us all this history and we felt like it was an onsite class and we needed our moleskin notebooks! We didn't go across the Charles Bridge to the Castle District, but that's on tomorrow's (June 22) agenda. Then we got some food and checked out some souvenier shops and I found the last of my souveniers :D. No more shopping for me! If you can't tell I'm pretty excited about that...lol.

Tomorrow we're going to get up and go see the Charles Bridge (named after Charles IV, their fave king), the Prague Castle (with the St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George's Basilica, and the Old Royal Palace), the Lennon wall, and the Museum of Communism if we have the energy and can find all of it lol!

Love and miss you all!
