May 30: Pompei!!!

Today I was so tired and sick, it was a pretty awful morning, but by afternoon I was feeling less awful and curl-in-a-ball-ish, so that was good. Lots of stuff at Pompei was closed bc of structural damage - basically they're afraid of lawsuits bc of stuff falling on people. So that was a bummer, but the museum in the morning of all the statues and ruins was super cool and the stuff we did se at the ruins was cool - like the first beware of dog sign :) and the theater and crypts and remains of some people trying to escape and the bathhouses, and we just walked by the brothel (but I saw a history channel thing on that, so I've basically already seen it.) Then we took a tram thing to Sorrento. That tram was sooo ghetto and sketch, but it got us there in one piece. Then we checked into a really nice hotel and went to get pizza! YUM.
